Job summary

Cedar is seeking a qualified Group Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract in London. The role covers quarterly consolidations, IFRS financial statements, and shareholder reporting, with emphasis on process improvements after finance technology implementation.

You will work closely with senior finance stakeholders to deliver timely, well-controlled group reporting and to embed automation and data-driven controls across the function.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification with experience in group financial statements.
• Strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge with consolidations experience.
• Ability to prepare reconciliations, investigate differences and resolve issues.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills to improve reporting.
• Finance process improvement or system implementation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements, management accounts and shareholder reporting.
• Deliver Group consolidation process using Yardi and monitor entries.
• Produce clear reconciliations and consolidated schedules with improved efficiency.
• Support senior management with analytical outputs and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with segment accounting, Treasury and Investments during close.
• Develop technical accounting papers under IFRS/UK GAAP and assist external audit.
