Job summary

Imperial Recruitment is partnering with an established education provider to appoint a Group Accountant on a six-month contract. The role covers management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and year-end reporting, with line management responsibility for a small team.

You will produce group management accounts information, lead budgeting cycles, and act as key contact for auditors. Advanced Excel and Power BI skills are desirable to support reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• CCAB or CIMA qualification is required.
• Grade C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in management accounts, year-end reporting and audit liaison.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, timely management accounts information for the group pack.
• Manage departmental budgets and partner with non-curriculum areas.
• Lead forecasting of staffing costs including scenario modelling.
