What does the role involve?

As Group Accountant you'll prepare month end consolidation for UK and Europe. This is a pivotal role in our growth journey at Novuna as we expand into Europe and broaden our reporting requirements.

Some of your key duties will include:

• Preparing month end UK Group and multi-currency consolidation
• Liaising with relevant teams to ensure reporting is efficient, timely and accurate
• Developing the capabilities of our accounting system and enhancing report writing
• Building relationships with internal and external contacts and support the wider team with project work

What are we looking for?

You'll have working knowledge of accountancy systems (ideally Oracle but this can be taught) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).You'll relish the idea of a role where you can make improvements to get processes and controls working more efficiently.

Also, we're looking for the following:

• Qualified accountant – ACCA/ACA
• Good knowledge of preparing or auditing multi-currency consolidations
• Advanced Excel skills with a high degree of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
• Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to negotiate and work closely with internal and external contacts
