Job summary

Baker Charles is seeking a technically strong group accountant for a Central London hybrid role. You will oversee group financial reporting, IFRS consolidation, statutory accounts and internal controls while supporting business transformation in a fast‑moving travel and leisure business.

The successful candidate will bring ACA/ACCA, experience in group reporting and audits, advanced Excel, and excellent communication to collaborate with finance teams and external auditors on tight reporting

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA).
• Experience in group reporting, audit and statutory accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual reports per IFRS.
• Ensure statutory accounts comply with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support external audits and respond to audit queries.
• Prepare technical accounting assessments and regulatory reporting.
• Strengthen financial controls and improve reporting processes.
• Collaborate with finance teams and stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines.

The Group Accountant will oversee group financial reporting, statutory compliance and IFRS reporting, while strengthening financial controls and supporting ongoing business transformation. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS.
