Marshall Harmony seeks a Group Accountant to work across an international group with operations in Spain, Germany, Poland, South Africa and more. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage group reporting and consolidation, balance sheets, and month-end closing.
You'll collaborate with finance teams across countries, own the numbers, and provide clear insights to the wider business. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is required with a strong technical grounding.
You've qualified as an accountant. Now you want a role that gives you a bit more to get your teeth into.
Not just one company. Not just one set of numbers.
As Group Accountant, you'll be working across an international group with businesses in Spain, Germany, Poland, South Africa and other locations around the world.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll have plenty of exposure to what's happening across the wider group and the opportunity to understand how each part of the business fits together.
There's variety here.
As Group Accountant, you'll take care of the things you'd expect at this level. Management and statutory accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end, group reporting and making sure the numbers coming in from across the businesses are accurate and make sense.
But it's the international side that makes this role a little different.
You’ll be dealing with finance teams and businesses across different countries, pulling everything together and giving the Finance Director a clear picture of what's happening across the group.
You won't be doing it from within a huge corporate finance department either.
The culture here is genuinely lovely.
People know each other, they help each other and there's a real sense of everyone pulling in the same direction. It's friendly and down to earth, and despite being part of an international business, you’ll still feel like you’re part of a close-knit team.
As Group Accountant, you’ll probably be someone who enjoys that balance. You're technically strong and comfortable taking ownership of your numbers, but you're also approachable and happy picking up the phone to someone in Poland, Spain or South Africa to get to the bottom of something.
You'll need to be a qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with a solid grounding in financial accounting and reporting.
You’ll be comfortable with:
Most importantly, you'll be someone the Finance Director can rely on.
As Group Accountant, you'll be close enough to the detail to know your numbers, while understanding what those numbers are telling you about the wider business.
What's in it for you?
