Job Description:

Client: Our client is a specialist groundworks and builders work contractor, established 18 months ago by an ex-director from a multi-million-pound contractor. With a current turnover of £5 million, they are a young, dynamic, and growing business. They are seeking a Groundworks Site Manager to join their expanding operations team.

The successful candidate will manage a £2.6m contract involving demolition of an existing skate park, installation of underground drainage, site levelling, and preparation for a new skate park installation by a specialist contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Design review (scope gaps/clashes)
• Short-term programming
• Health & Safety (RAMS)
• Sub-contractor coordination
• Quality assurance
• Liaising with client team and sub-contractors
• Progress meetings with sub-contractors

The ideal candidate:

• Must have SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
• Experience managing projects of £2m or more
• Client-facing experience
• At least 3 years in a management role
