Job summary

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is seeking a Knowledge Specialist in Groundworks Civil and Railway Engineering to teach across Level 1–3 courses. The role is full-time and located at the Mansfield campus.

You will bring recent industrial experience in Groundworks, Civil and Railway Engineering and use it to create a dynamic learning environment within the Directorate of Engineering. Collaboration with the Teaching Head of Department is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Groundworks, Civil and/ or Railway Engineering.
• Experience teaching across Level 1–3 courses.
• Full-time role teaching to employed students.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to embed college values: Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Ambition and Compassion.

Responsibilities

• Teach Level 1–3 Groundworks, Civil and Railway Engineering.
• Provide a high-quality learning environment within the Directorate of Engineering.
• Collaborate with the Teaching Head of Department to deliver college strategy.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work with young people and adults.
