Job summary

Henry Blue Ltd is recruiting a Groundworks, Civil & Railway Engineering Lecturer for a well-established FE college in Nottinghamshire.

The role involves planning, delivering and developing theory and practical lessons at Levels 1–3, assessing learners, keeping progress records and acting as a personal tutor. The post offers up to £42,000, 39 days holiday and a 37-hour week with flexible working.

Qualifications

• Recent industry experience in Groundworks, Civil Eng or Rail Eng.
• A Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade, or willingness to work towards one.
• A1 Assessor award or equivalent, or willingness to complete within 6 months.
• English and Maths at Level 2, or willingness to work towards them within 6 months.
• Full driving licence and/or own transport.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and develop theory and practical lessons at Levels 1–3.
• Assess learners and keep accurate progress records.
• Create and develop learning resources.
• Act as personal tutor to a group of learners.
• Assist with quality reviews and curriculum/industry updates.

What we're looking for
