My client is a leading groundworks and civil engineering contractor with multiple live projects across Surrey and Sussex.

We are currently recruiting a Groundworks Foreman to join the company and assist in managing a package consisting of roads, drainage, and groundworks.

My client has ongoing and continuous work for the right candidate.

Foreman Responsibilities

1. Reporting into the Project Manager and Contracts Manager.
2. Site supervision and compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Keeping site diaries.
4. Conducting toolbox talks.
5. Ensuring quality assurance.
6. Managing the labour force and ensuring work is carried out safely.
7. Ensuring all paperwork is filed and organized.
8. Liaising with the client and providing weekly/monthly progress reports.
9. Ordering materials.

Foreman Requirements

• CSCS card.
• SMSTS/SSSTS certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Experience managing groundworks packages.
• 5+ years of management experience.
