Job summary

Morson Vital is seeking several Groundworkers to support a long-term railway project between Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Work will begin with enabling tasks on multiple sites between the two counties.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:30. Pay is umbrella only (no CIS), and assignments run for 6-9 months initially.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card required.
• Previous on-site experience essential.
• Duties include prepping the compound, laying track matting, trench excavation and fencing around trenches.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sites and clearance for the compound.
• Lay track matting and prepare the site for main works.
• Excavate trenches and install fencing around active works.
• Support enabling works ahead of drainage and later railway works.

Job description

Morson Vital are looking for several Groundworkers to start with one of our clients. Initial enabling work is expected to run for around 6-9 months, before moving onto drainage etc. This is for a long-term project building a railway line between Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Multiple sites are between these two areas.

Requirements for the role of Groundworkers -

• You must hold a valid CSCS card
• Previous experience working on site
• Initial duties to include: prepping, and clearance for the compound, laying track matting, then excavation of trenches, fencing around trenches etc
