Job summary

Bauer Media Outdoor in Bristol is seeking a Groundworker to join our team at the Bristol Depot. You will travel to sites across the South West, work as part of a small team installing foundations for mass concrete structures and digital screens, with occasional nights away from home.

You should be skilled in reading technical drawings, setting out to line and level, and performing safe excavation, trenching, and groundwork tasks in line with CDM 2015 regulations. A van is provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in excavation works involving Utilities.
• Traffic Management knowledge and the understanding of correct procedures.
• Understanding of Construction Design and Management regulations 2015.
• Experience with working at height - Use of step ladders, tower scaffolding and MEMPs.
• Identification of underground services and competency using CAT scanning.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites in the South West and stay away from home as required.
• Read technical drawings and set out to line and level; cast mass concrete and foundations.
• Excavate around network cabling and manage trenching in live networks.
• Operate machinery such as a CAT and other site equipment.
• Maintain a safe site per RAMS and the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015.
