Job summary

Apex Resourcing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Groundworker Supervisor to lead groundworks teams on electrical infrastructure and utility projects nationwide. The role is permanent, Monday to Friday, 40 hours, with a salary of £47,840 per year. Benefits include a company van for private use, overtime, pension, career progression, and 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Most work is away from Hull. The ideal candidate will have utilities or infrastructure supervisory experience, CPCS/NPORS

Qualifications

• Experience supervising groundworks in utilities, civils or infrastructure.
• Strong leadership and team management for site-based crews.
• CPCS/NPORS machinery qualification.
• NRSWA qualification preferred.
• SSSTS or SMSTS desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site teams and ensure safety and compliance.
• Manage excavation and reinstatement works.
• Oversee utility ducting and trenching activities.
• Coordinate programme, resources and material/plant allocation.
• Ensure quality control inspections and client liaison.

Overview

Due to growth we are currently for a Groundworker Supervisor on behalf of one of the UK's fastest-growing renewable energy and electrical infrastructure companies. Established over 10 years, they specialise in Solar PV, solar battery storage, and EV charging systems, managing every stage from initial design and planning through to installation and maintenance. They do a lot of work for automotive dealerships including BMW, Volvo and Peugeot. They also do work on retail parks, farms, manufacturers, charging forecourts, hotels and within the educational sector. As the Groundworker Supervisor you will lead groundworks teams delivering electrical infrastructure, EV charging and utility projects nationwide. Ideal for an experienced supervisor with utilities, civils or infrastructure experience. This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, paying £47,840 per annum. You will also receive a day off on your birthday. The company are based in Hull but the majority of the work is working away.
