Job summary

EDF Energy Limited in the UK invites applications for a Groundworker (Sizewell C) on the Sizewell C Project with Ballycommon. You will undertake general groundworks including trenching, drainage, concrete pours and kerb laying, while reading site drawings and assisting site supervisors and engineers.

Candidates must hold a valid CSCS card (Blue skilled worker preferred) and CPCS/NPORS for plant duties; safety certification is essential.

Qualifications

• CSCS blue skilled worker card is preferred.
• CPCS/NPORS for plant duties (e.g., Dumper, Roller, 360) where applicable.
• Safety-critical medical or willingness to obtain.
• Right to work in the UK on site.
• Proven background in general and civil groundworks on large infrastructure or commercial sites.
• Experience with drainage, concrete works and external works.
• SC or BPSS clearance or willingness to undergo vetting.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of general groundworks including trenching, ducting, drainage, concrete pours, and kerb laying.
• Work to site drawings and under instruction from site supervisors and engineers.
• Support plant operations (e.g., assisting dumper and 360 drivers, slinging, signaling).
• Formwork, shuttering, and basic steel fixing as required.
• Setting out levels and assisting with laser and dumpy levels.
• Ensure safe working practices on a regulated site.
• Collaborate with teams to meet daily productivity and safety goals.
