Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking a hands-on Groundworker to support reactive repairs and external maintenance across Wolverhampton and surrounding areas. You will carry out fencing, gate repairs, flagging, brickwork pointing and general external works on residential properties.

Ideal candidates have groundwork experience, a valid UK driving licence and an NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in a construction trade, with a customer-focused approach and ability to work with PDA/mobile tools.

Qualifications

• Groundwork and external maintenance experience.
• Experience with fencing, flagging and gate repairs.
• Experience with pointing and minor brickwork repairs.
• Ability to diagnose defects and complete repairs in residential properties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out external fencing repairs and replacement works to residential properties.
• Install, repair and replace gates and associated external structures.
• Complete flagging and paving repairs to paths and external areas.
• Carry out pointing and minor brickwork repairs.
• Complete external maintenance works to communal and residential properties.
• Diagnose defects and carry out effective repairs to a high standard.
• Maintain safe and tidy working areas throughout each job.
• Use PDA and mobile technology to record and update work orders accurately.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
• Ensure all work meets required safety, quality and customer service standards.
