Job summary

Wallace Hind - Construction Temps is recruiting for a Groundworker with a Dumper ticket to work on a commercial site in Manchester. You will drive a dumper and perform groundworks on a busy project, on a single site. The role runs for a few weeks with a 7:30–16:30 schedule, totaling 9 hours per day, paid at £22.00 per hour CIS through Quest Pay Solutions.

Commencement from 8th September 2026. Mandatory CPCS/NPORS card, PPE, proven groundworks and dumper driving experience, and ability to work 45

Qualifications

• Groundworker with dumping ticket on site.
• Must have experience in groundworks and dumper driving.
• Able to communicate on site and follow instructions.

My client is looking for a Groundworker who also has their dumper ticket on a commercial site, in Manchester.

HOURLY RATE : £22.00 per hour - CIS

LOCATION : Manchester (M23)

DATE COMMENCING : Tuesday 8th September 2026

LENGTH OF CONTRACT : few weeks work

HOURS OF WORK :

• 7:30 - 16:30
• Book 9 hours per day

JOB DESCRIPTION : Groundworker, with Dumper ticket

You will be working for a groundworks and civils company, doing groundworks and dumper driving on a commercial project.

REQUIREMENTS : Groundworker, with Dumper ticket

• CPCS / NPORS Card
• PPE
• Has previous experience within groundworks and Dumper driving
• UTR - to enable CIS payments

PERSON SPECIFICATION : Groundworker, with Dumper ticket

• Can communicate well with others already on site and follow instructions given
• Can work the full 45 hours required, each week
