Job summary

Wallace Hind Construction Temps is seeking a Groundworker with a Dumper ticket for a short-term project in Manchester (M23). The role runs on a 7:30–16:30 schedule, with a booked 9 hours per day and CIS payroll processing.

You will work on a commercial site for a few weeks, performing groundworks and dumper driving with a civils-focused team.

Qualifications

• Groundworker with Dumper ticket (CPCS/NPORS card) and on-site experience.
• UTR to enable CIS payments.
• PPE compliance on site.

Responsibilities

My client is looking for a Groundworker who also has their dumper ticket on a commercial site, in Manchester.

HOURLY RATE : £22.00 per hour – CIS

LOCATION : Manchester (M23)

DATE COMMENCING : Tuesday 8th September 2026

LENGTH OF CONTRACT : few weeks work

HOURS OF WORK :

• 7:30 – 16:30
• Book 9 hours per day

You will be working for a groundworks and civils company, doing groundworks and dumper driving on a commercial project.

REQUIREMENTS : Groundworker, with Dumper ticket

• CPCS / NPORS Card
• PPE
• Has previous experience within groundworks and Dumper driving
• UTR – to enable CIS payments

PERSON SPECIFICATION : Groundworker, with Dumper ticket

• Can communicate well with others already on site and follow instructions given
• Can work the full 45 hours required, each week
