Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking a Groundworker with a Dumper ticket for a commercial site in Manchester (M23). The role runs a 45-hour week from 07:30 to 16:30, with a pay rate of £22.00 per hour CIS. Start date: Tuesday 8 September 2026, for a few weeks on a live project.

You will carry out groundworks and dumper driving on site, need CPCS/NPORS, PPE, and have prior experience in groundworks and dumper operation. You will be paid through Quest Pay Solutions via CIS payroll.

My client is looking for a Groundworker who also has their dumper ticket on a commercial site, in Manchester.

HOURLY RATE : £22.00 per hour - CIS

LOCATION : Manchester (M23)

DATE COMMENCING : Tuesday 8th September 2026

LENGTH OF CONTRACT : few weeks work

HOURS OF WORK :

• 7:30 - 16:30
• Book 9 hours per day

JOB DESCRIPTION : Groundworker, with Dumper ticket

You will be working for a groundworks and civils company, doing groundworks and dumper driving on a commercial project.

REQUIREMENTS : Groundworker, with Dumper ticket

• CPCS / NPORS Card
• PPE
• Has previous experience within groundworks and Dumper driving
• UTR - to enable CIS payments

PERSON SPECIFICATION : Groundworker, with Dumper ticket

• Can communicate well with others already on site and follow instructions given
• Can work the full 45 hours required, each week
