Horizon Parking Ltd is seeking an experienced Groundworker to join the team. The role is based from our Chelmsford Head Office, with weekly travel across the UK to various sites and overnight stays as required.

You may work nights occasionally and must live within a reasonable commute to Worthing due to travel in a company vehicle. Responsibilities include general groundworks, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering quality results.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of grounds maintenance or similar site work.
• Experience using a range of power tools and equipment.
• CSCS Card holder.
• Willingness to work at heights and travel for sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general groundworks tasks per client/site requirements (paving, drainage, kerbing, foundations, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies on site.
• Deliver high-quality work meeting client expectations.

Job description

Due to business growth we currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Groundworker to join the Horizon Parking team on a permanent basis. This role will involve using our Chelmsford Head Office as a base to complete your weekly rota/tasks and then travelling across the UK to cover the various different allocated jobs, and as such, it will require flexibility for overnight stays throughout the working week (up 4 nights per week) and occasional nightshift work if required per site. Please note - Due to the nature of this role and the location groundworks team applicants MUST live within a reasonable commute location to Worthing as the job will require the groundwork teams to travel in the same company vehicle. Please note - The successful applicants for this role will also be subject to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check., As a Groundworker, you are responsible for:

• General construction work in line with client requirements, including paving, kerbing, installing bollards / machines / equipment, foundation work, drainage, finishing works, surfacing, concreting etc.
• Ensuring full compliance with company and on-site client health and safety policy and requirements.
• Delivering a high-quality work in line with company and client expectations.

What I need to show….

• Minimum of 12 months experience of working in grounds maintenance field.
• Experience of using a range of power tools and equipment.
• CSCS Card.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Full driving licence.
• Proven experience within the ground working sector is required.

This role will require working away from home on a planned basis. Hotel accommodation and subsistence allowance is provided in line with our Expense Policy.

Horizon Parking Ltd is a car park management company, providing our various services nationwide.

• £19 - £20 per hour (ranging, depending on days/nights worked) - increase to £20/£21 upon successful completion of your probation.
