Job summary

Search Consultancy has opportunities to work with clients in construction as a Groundworker. These are temporary roles with ongoing work and potential benefits.

You will operate excavators and dumper trucks, set out and lay concrete, flags and kerbs to specification, and carry out site clearance to maintain a safe working environment. We are looking for candidates with groundworking experience; CPCS/NPORS qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous groundworker or similar construction role.
• Ability to operate plant machinery and hold CPCS/NPORS qualifications (preferred).
• Strong teamwork and safety focus.
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to work outdoors in all weathers.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery safely on site.
• Set out and lay concrete, flags, and kerbs to specification.
• Carry out site clearance and reinstatement tasks.
• Work with site supervisors to deliver groundwork on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Groundworker or in a similar construction role
• Ability to operate plant machinery confidently and hold relevant CPCS/NPORS qualifications (preferred)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a focus on safety
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to work outdoors in all weathers
