Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is seeking an experienced groundworker for a 12-month contract on site in the UK. You will perform all aspects of groundworks and deep drainage, including manholes, drainage chambers, channel formation and pipework installations. Immediate start for reliable candidates with CPCS/NPORS and CSCS cards.

Role involves excavations up to 3–4 metres, brickwork and blockwork, backfilling, compaction and reinstatement, plus dumper and roller operation. References required.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundworks and deep drainage on site.
• Ability to build manholes and drainage chambers.
• Bench and channel formation expertise.
• Drainage pipework installation and connections.
• Excavations to 3–4 metres.
• Brickwork and blockwork capabilities.
• Backfilling, compaction and reinstatement.
• Dumper and roller operation on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of groundworks and drainage on site.
• Construct manholes and drainage chambers.
• Provide benching and channel formation as required.
• Install and connect drainage pipework.
• Excavate up to 3–4 metres safely.
• Carry out brickwork and blockwork when needed.
• Backfill, compact and reinstate surfaces.
• Operate dumper and roller during works.

12-MONTH CONTRACT - STARTING MONDAY

An opportunity is available for an experienced, reliable all-round groundworker for a long-term position on site, with 12 months of work available.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• All aspects of groundworks and deep drainage
• Building manholes and drainage chambers
• Manhole benching and channel formation
• Drainage pipework installation and connections
• Excavations up to 3-4 metres
• General brickwork and blockwork
• Backfilling, compaction and reinstatement
• Dumper and roller operation

CARDS & SITE REQUIREMENTS

• Valid CPCS or NPORS card for dumper and roller operation
• Valid CSCS card required as a minimum for site access
• Relevant experience and qualifications
• References required

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Duration: 12 months
• Full-time, site-based work
