Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Gillingham is seeking a site Groundworker to perform general groundworks, foundations, kerbs, slabs and drainage on a civil engineering project.

You should have previous groundworking experience, hold a CSCS Card, and work well in a team while staying safety conscious. You may be asked to take on standalone responsibilities and liaise with site management.

This contract is full-time, paying £21–£22 per hour, and offers on-site working conditions with immediate start.

The role:

As the site Groundworker you will be responsible for

• General Groundworks
• Laying Foundations
• Laying Kerbs, Slabs and Tactiles
• Internal and External Drainage

About you:

Ideally you will have previous working experience in a groundworks position.

You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside of you.

You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.
