Job summary

Horizon Parking Ltd is seeking a skilled groundworker to join the permanent team, based at our Chelmsford Head Office with UK-wide travel to complete scheduled groundwork and maintenance tasks to the highest standards.

You will join a team of experienced groundworkers performing paving, drainage, foundations, kerbing and related duties, ensuring safety compliance and quality workmanship. Applicants must have a CSCS card, CPCS 360 ticket, full UK driving licence and DBS check.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months experience in grounds maintenance.
• CSCS Card required.
• CPCS 360/Digger ticket required.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Must be able to travel and work away from home up to 4 nights per week.

Responsibilities

• General construction duties including paving, kerbing, foundations, drainage, surfacing and concreting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies on site.
• Deliver high-quality work in line with client and company expectations.
• Undertake other duties as required.

Job description

Due to business growth, Horizon Parking Ltd is currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable groundworker to join the team on a permanent basis. Using our Head Office (Chelmsford) as a base, the role will involve working within a team of experienced groundworkers to travel across the UK and complete your allocated/scheduled tasks in carrying out all aspects of groundwork and ground maintenance duties, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to the highest standards in line with our expectations. Responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

• General construction work in line with client requirements, including paving, kerbing, installing bollards / machines / equipment, foundation work, drainage, finishing works, surfacing, concreting etc.
• Ensuring full compliance with company and on-site client health and safety policy and requirements.
• Delivering a high-quality work in line with company and client expectations.
• Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required.
• Minimum of 12 months experience of working in grounds maintenance field.
• Experience of using a range of power tools and equipment.
• CSCS Card.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Full driving licence.
• CPCS 360/Digger ticket
• This role will require travel and working away from home on a planned basis of up to 4 nights per week if required.
• Due to our company driving and insurance policy applicants must be over the age of 21 and have held their driving licence for more than 6 months.
• Some of the work we do requires the groundwork teams to work through the night so the successful applicant must be flexible to work both day or night shifts if required.
• The successful applicant for this role will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Hotel accommodation and subsistence allowance is provided in line with our Company Expense Policy.
