Job summary

Horizon Parking Ltd is seeking a skilled groundwork specialist to join on a permanent basis, based from our Chelmsford head office and traveling across the UK to complete tasks to the highest standards.

You will work with an experienced groundworking team, carrying out paving, drainage, foundations and other ground maintenance duties, with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in grounds maintenance.
• CSCS Card required.
• CPCS 360/Digger ticket required.
• Full driving licence required.
• Ability to work at heights.
• DBS check will be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of groundwork and ground maintenance duties.
• General construction work including paving, kerbing, foundations and drainage.
• Ensure safety policies are followed on site.
• Travel across the UK to complete scheduled tasks.
• Ability to work day or night shifts when required.

Job description

Due to business growth, Horizon Parking Ltd is currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable groundwork specialist to join the team on a permanent basis. Using our Head Office (Chelmsford) as a base, the role will involve working within a team of experienced groundworkers to travel across the UK and complete your allocated/scheduled tasks in carrying out all aspects of groundwork and ground maintenance duties, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to the highest standards in line with our expectations. Responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

• General construction work in line with client requirements, including paving, kerbing, installing bollards / machines / equipment, foundation work, drainage, finishing works, surfacing, concreting etc.
• Ensuring full compliance with company and on-site client health and safety policy and requirements.
• Delivering a high-quality work in line with company and client expectations.
• Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required., This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
• Minimum of 12 months experience of working in grounds maintenance field.
• Experience of using a range of power tools and equipment.
• CSCS Card.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Full driving licence.
• CPCS 360/Digger ticket This role will require travel across the UK and working away from home on a planned basis of up to 4 nights per week if required.
• Due to our company driving and insurance policy applicants must be over the age of 21 and have held their driving licence for more than 6 months.
• Some of the work we do requires the groundwork teams to work through the night so the successful applicant must be flexible to work both day or night shifts if required.
• The successful applicant for this role will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Hotel accommodation and subsistence allowance is provided in line with our Company Expense Policy.
