Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Hydrogeology/Groundwater Specialist Graduate to join our Environment team in Basingstoke, Bristol or Croydon, starting January 2027. You will work on groundwater investigations, data compilation, and reporting within a hybrid work model.

You’ll gain site experience and develop skills with AquiferWin32 and GIS deliverables, participating in field surveys and the ADVANCE Graduate Development Programme with mentoring.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Hydrogeology, Water Resources, or related field.
• Strong report writing and data interpretation abilities.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to hybrid work model.
• Experience with fieldwork and data analysis.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Site work collecting groundwater data and supervising borehole drilling and testing.
• Data collation, processing, and analysis into databases.
• Use of groundwater software and GIS deliverables.
• Desk study evaluation and report preparation.
• Contributing to project development and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
