Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Hydrogeologist to join the Hydrogeology/Groundwater team at our UK North offices in Manchester. From day one you’ll join a community of experts, supporting your path toward professional qualification while contributing to hydrogeological assessments and groundwater modelling on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Hydrogeology or an Earth Science discipline.
• Interest in groundwater and hydrogeology with analytical mindset.
• Good understanding of groundwater modelling and GIS useful.
• Willing to work in the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hydrogeological assessments, models, and designs.
• Conduct geological, hydrogeological desk studies and site assessments.
• Plan and interpret ground investigations including drilling and testing.
• Investigate groundwater resources, borehole design, and monitoring.
• Support groundwater flow and contaminant transport modelling.
• Prepare technical reports and environmental documentation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and attend project meetings.
