Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep our holiday park grounds clean, tidy and inviting. You will cut grass, trim hedges, lay bark, and perform general gardening outdoors, with a 43-hour week and a salary of £28,419 per annum.

Experience in grounds maintenance is preferred. You should be able to work solo or in a team, communicate effectively, and maintain a professional, can-do attitude.

• Trimming hedges and maintaining shrubbery.
• Laying bark and maintaining flowerbeds.

• Distributing deliveries to relevant departments.
• Assisting with moving and siting of caravans and lodges.
• Supporting other departments with ad hoc duties as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Litter picking and keeping park areas clean.

Overview

Requirements

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance and gardening
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
• A professional attitude and a positive, can-do personality
• Experience in caravan park environments is an advantage
• Plumbing experience would be beneficial, though not essential
• Willingness to wear company-provided uniform and maintain a neat appearance
• Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the park
