Job summary

Ardingly College is seeking an experienced Groundsperson to maintain amenity and horticultural areas to a high standard across Ardingly College and Great Walstead School. The successful candidate will join the Grounds Team to manage and develop extensive sports facilities, landscaped areas and the wider estate.

Responsibilities include the day-to-day preparation and upkeep of sports pitches and outdoor spaces, through mowing, aeration, fertilising, line marking, renovations and repairs, and

The Vacancy

Ardingly College is seeking to recruit an experienced Groundsperson responsible for maintaining amenity and horticultural areas to a high standard throughout the Ardingly College and Great Walstead School.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Grounds Team to maintain and develop both schools extensive sports facilities, landscaped areas and wider estate to the highest possible standards. Responsibilities include the day-to-day preparation and upkeep of sports pitches and outdoor spaces through activities such as mowing, aeration, fertilising, line marking, renovations and repairs, as well as supporting school events, fixtures and external lettings.
