Job summary

Ben Burgess is expanding our Groundscare team and seeking skilled technicians to work with the John Deere brand and other leading manufacturers. Based at Coates and our depots in Ellington, Oakham and Coates, we cover Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Bedfordshire and Rutland.

As a Groundscare Service Technician you will diagnose and repair equipment, service John Deere machinery, mentor apprentices and trainees, and prepare new and used equipment for delivery, with ongoing training on new products

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• A commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivation, strong communication skills and a willingness to take on new challenges.
• Proficiency in maintaining and repairing machinery using special tools and approved technical procedures.
• Flexibility to adjust working hours during peak seasons and weekends.
• A valid UK driving licence.
• Experience in a franchised dealer environment is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

As a Groundscare Service Technician you'll work on modern, high-specification machinery across our depots and out in the field, playing a direct part in the service our customers rely on.
