Purpose of Job
To provide efficient and effective grounds maintenance support to the site, ensuring the grounds are maintained to manicured standards. Work within a structured team, delivering tasks throughout the seasons, observing safe practices, and adhering to management instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the professional image of CBRE.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with CBRE employees and clients' representatives.
- Carry out planned preventative grounds and horticultural maintenance, including winter contingency and gritting.
- Operate grass cutting equipment such as tractors, petrol lawnmowers, and strimmers, and control traffic and personnel as necessary.
- Perform weed control through spot spraying.
- Clear litter, leaves, and debris; clean spillages.
- Prune low-level trees as needed.
- Report defects to the Line Manager.
- Attend site and perform reactive repairs as instructed.
- Keep gullies and drains clear of debris.
- Dispose of waste materials safely and hygienically.
- Occasionally undertake porterage and delivery tasks.
- Perform handyman duties, including painting, as directed.
- Maintain records for QHSE logbooks.
- Assist and host visiting personnel such as contractors.
- Comply with health and safety legislation and policies.
- Perform any other reasonable duties within the job scope.

Required Skills
- Qualifications in sit-on mowers, tractors, strimmers, hedge cutters (e.g., Lanta or similar).
- Licence for pesticide spraying.
- Licence for trailer towing.
- Valid current driving licence.
