Purpose of Job

To provide efficient and effective grounds maintenance support to the site, ensuring the grounds are maintained to manicured standards. Work within a structured team, delivering tasks throughout the seasons, observing safe practices, and adhering to management instructions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain the professional image of CBRE.
2. Establish and maintain good relationships with CBRE employees and clients' representatives.
3. Carry out planned preventative grounds and horticultural maintenance, including winter contingency and gritting.
4. Operate grass cutting equipment such as tractors, petrol lawnmowers, and strimmers, and control traffic and personnel as necessary.
5. Perform weed control through spot spraying.
6. Clear litter, leaves, and debris; clean spillages.
7. Prune low-level trees as needed.
8. Report defects to the Line Manager.
9. Attend site and perform reactive repairs as instructed.
10. Keep gullies and drains clear of debris.
11. Dispose of waste materials safely and hygienically.
12. Occasionally undertake porterage and delivery tasks.
13. Perform handyman duties, including painting, as directed.
14. Maintain records for QHSE logbooks.
15. Assist and host visiting personnel such as contractors.
16. Comply with health and safety legislation and policies.
17. Perform any other reasonable duties within the job scope.
