Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in High Wycombe is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The role involves grass cutting with ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimming, pruning, weeding, and general horticultural duties to keep client grounds tidy. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:30.

A valid UK driving licence and outdoor physical fitness are essential. PA1/PA6 licences are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous Grounds Maintenance working experience.
• A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting with ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimming, pruning and weeding.
• Shrub and border care, litter collection and related horticultural tasks.
• Maintain local grounds to a high standard for clients.
• Work Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:30.
