Job summary

PPM Recruitment is seeking Grounds Maintenance Operatives for roles in Cheltenham. We welcome candidates with a valid driver’s licence and relevant landscape experience to join a leading grounds maintenance company. Typical duties include grass cutting, litter picking, strimming, edging, hedge work, weed control and operating mowers and powered tools.

The role is long‑term and could become permanent for the right person. Starts ASAP with four positions available.

Qualifications

Grounds Maintenance Operatives - Cheltenham

We are looking for candidates along the M4 corridor, ideally from any area between Swindon and Slough, to work for one of the UK's leading landscape/grounds maintenance companies.

Responsibilities

• Strimming
• Edging
• Hedge cutting
• Weed control
• Using mowers and powered tools
• Other general landscape labour duties as directed by the supervisor

• Reliable and committed to a long‑term role

The role is long term and may become permanent for the right candidate. The pay rate is up to £15.35 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Working hours are ideally from 7 am to 4 pm in summer and 7 am to 2 pm in winter, with flexibility to accommodate early or late starts.

Immediate start. There are four positions available. Starts ASAP.
