• Grass and lawn cutting to maintain tidy grounds.
• Litter picking and general site cleaning.
• Strimming and edging around greens and borders.
• Hedge cutting and weed control as directed.
• Operation of mowers and powered tools.
• Other landscape labour tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Grounds Maintenance Operatives : Reading

Grounds Maintenance operatives are required to work for one of the UKs leading landscape/grounds maintenance companys.

Daily duties will include:

• grass/ lawn cutting
• litter picking
• Strimming
• Edging
• Hedge cutting
• Weed control
• using mowers and powered tools
• other general landscape labour duties as directed by the supervisor

The roles will be long term and possibly become permanent for the right candidate.

Drivers License And Experience Are Essential

It is very important that candidates are reliable and commit to the job for the long term.

The pay rate is up to GBP15.35 per hour depending on skills/experience.

Immediate start.

The working hours are ideally from 7am to 4pm in the summer and 7am to 2pm in the winter, there is flexibility with this and if you prefer to start later or earlier then this will be accommodated.
