Job summary

Glendale is seeking a reliable Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Hemel Hempstead team. The role involves keeping large grassed areas neat, trimming hedges, and maintaining shrub beds, with focus on safety and efficiency.

You will work with limited supervision and contribute to the upkeep of public and commercial spaces. The ideal candidate is reliable, has a can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Previous knowledge of Grounds Maintenance skills and horticulture is desirable, however training will be provided.
• Previous experience with handheld machinery is desirable, however full training will be given.
• The Grounds Maintenance Operative must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Mowing large grassed areas and strimming.
• Blowing and hedge trimming along shrub beds.
• Hedge cutting and hard surface spraying operations.
