• Capable d'utiliser une gamme d'équipements et d'outils à main.
• Travail en extérieur par tous les temps.

Responsibilities

• Assurer l'entretien des sites de logement par tonte, taille, et désherbage.
• Utiliser des équipements tels que tondeuses et débroussailleuses.
• Participer à des tâches horticoles et maintenance générale.

Job description

Grounds Maintenance Operative
Shift Times: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4:30pm, possible overtime
Pay Rate: 12.21ph
Location: Burton-on-Trent, DE14 3PG

This is a temporary position until the of October for the summer season.

Manpower are looking for Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work for our client based out of Burton-On-Trent. Working in this role you will support to keep a number of housing sites in wonderful condition for our client through grass cutting (using a pedestrian and ride on mower), strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub & border maintenance. As well as litter picking and any other related horticultural duties. It's a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.

The training offered includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practice.

To succeed, you will need:

• To be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Hold a full valid UK Driving License
• Willingness to learn & open to training.
• Safety conscious mindset is key.
• Capable of working safely using a range of equipment and hand tools (e.g. strimmer's, backpack blowers, push mowers etc.)
• Experience in working in a busy team and providing a high-quality service.
• Experience in a similar Grounds Maintenance role.
