I am currently working alongside an established grounds maintenance company that is seeking an experienced grounds maintenance operative to join their team based in Bedford. Please find the job specification below.

Job Specification: Grounds Maintenance Operative

• Full UK driving license required
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 16:00 pm, including a one-hour break

Responsibilities include:

• Mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, etc.

Additional details:

• Available to start ASAP
• Company van and fuel card supplied from day one
• Working within a team of two and also lone working
• Uniform and all tools supplied
• Driving license must have 6 or fewer points with no bans for drink or alcohol-related offences

This role is with a well-established grounds maintenance company and is temporary with the potential to become permanent. The pay rate is £13.68 per hour. The position covers Bedford and surrounding areas. Once permanent, opportunities for additional qualifications such as NVQs or tickets are available, and the company is happy to enroll you in relevant courses. The position is permanent after thirteen weeks.
