Job summary

Pro Ground Services Ltd in Nottingham is seeking a full-time Grounds Maintenance / Landscape Operative to keep outdoor spaces clean, safe and presentable. You will perform grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding, and planting, working with hand tools and machinery on-site.

Daily tasks include soft landscaping, shrub/tree maintenance, irrigation setup and monitoring, and site clean-up. You will follow health and safety procedures, work independently or as part of a team, and liaise with site

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining commercial or residential outdoor spaces.
• Planting, pruning, turf care, and general horticultural knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and schedule management.
• Ability to read plans and contribute to layout ideas.
• Full UK driving license or reliable travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding and general gardening.
• Planting and maintaining shrubs and trees, assisting soft landscaping.
• Support irrigation setup, monitoring and maintenance.
• Site clean-up and interaction with site managers/clients.
• Follow health and safety procedures and work as part of a team.
