Job summary

BDS (Northern) Limited is seeking an experienced Grounds Person to provide estate maintenance across sites in Welwyn Garden City.

Duties include lawn mowing, border management, hedge cutting, planting and pruning, strimming, litter picking and bulk waste removal. A manual driving licence is required; a company van is provided.

The role is temporary, two days per week, 8am–4pm, with pay starting at £14.63 per hour, starting ASAP.

Job description

BDS are currently recruiting for experienced Grounds person to provide Estate maintenance covering sites in Welwyn Garden City

You will need to hold a manual driving license for this position and a company van is available.

Some of the key duties involved are:

• Lawn mowing/Lawn care
• Border management
• Hedge cutting
• Planting and Pruning
• Strimming
• Litter picking
• Bin store management
• Bulk waste removal when necessary

We are looking for someone who has good customer service skills as you will be interacting with our customers and colleagues, and you would be working both within a team and on your own.

Working hours are 2 days between Monday to Friday- flexible on which

8am to 4pm

Pay rate starts from £14.63 per hour
