Job summary

B&B Groundcare is seeking an experienced field technician to perform installations, routine servicing and repairs on engine powered grounds machinery from our Warsop base. You will travel across the territory supporting consumer and commercial customers and ensuring work meets manufacturer specifications.

Based at our central head office in Warsop, you will be responsible for servicing a wide range of equipment and maintaining high customer satisfaction with a professional, friendly approach.

Qualifications

• Experience with engine powered grounds machinery and electronics.
• Autonomous, self-motivated and able to work within a Parts department ethos.
• Positive, friendly attitude and good customer manner.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installations, routine servicing and general repairs/breakdowns.
• Ensure work is completed to manufacturer specifications, in house or at the customer site.
• Cover a diverse range of products across the territory.

Job description

Working with the B&B Groundcare team and reporting to the Groundcare Manager, you will be based at our central head office in Warsop, but will be required to travel over our assigned territory, where you will be required to support and promote our fantastic range of Husqvarna, Hayter and Toro groundcare products, to both consumer and commercial customers across the entire company territory.

You will be responsible for carrying out Installations, routine servicing and general repairs/breakdowns, whilst ensuring that all is completed correctly to Manufacturer specification, both in house or on the customers property.

This will include a diverse range of products, such as robotic mowers, ride-on mowers, pedestrian mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, pole saws, leaf blowers, and much more.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

This is a fast paced and largely autonomous position at our Warsop depot and as such would suit an experienced self-starter with a background in engine powered grounds machinery and electronics.

The role demands a self-motivated person who can work on their own but can also adopt the ethos of each sites Parts department to ensure a timely, efficient, and quality repair to meet our customers satisfactions. A positive attitude and friendly character is of high importance for this role.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Full driving licence
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematic diagrams
