Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Limited is seeking a Groundcare Service Technician for a permanent, full-time role in Danbury, Essex. You will diagnose and repair machinery, service groundcare equipment and report maintenance digitally.

A strong practical and independent work approach is essential, with a full UK driving licence. The role offers a company van, mobile phone, 32 days of annual leave, pension and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with groundcare, agricultural or construction machinery.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with modern electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems.
• Good customer service, IT and reporting skills.
• A practical, problem-solving approach and ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Service and maintain groundcare and related machinery.
• Use diagnostic tools, fault codes and machine software.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Replace parts to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete accurate digital service and repair reports.
• Provide clear updates to managers, colleagues and customers.
• Follow health & safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Groundcare Service Technician
Location: Danbury, Essex
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 39 hours per week
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
