Job summary

MJ Quinn is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on ground-mounted solar PV projects across the UK. You will supervise subcontractors, enforce safety practices, and ensure work aligns with technical specifications under the Project Manager’s direction.

This role requires 3–5 years in site supervision, experience with ground Mount solar farms, and a strong grasp of UK construction and renewable energy regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in site supervision.
• Ground Mount Solar Farm experience essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of UK construction and renewable energy regulations.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and enforce safety standards.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and oversee daily site operations.
• Uphold HSQE standards and deliver toolbox talks.
• Ensure CDM regulations and safety policies are followed.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for the Project Manager.
• Highlight risks, delays, and issues promptly.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support client visits and provide site progress updates.
• Monitor workmanship to ensure installations meet specs and standards.
