Job summary
Fusion People are seeking a Contracts Manager for Ground Investigations in Glasgow. This permanent role oversees delivery of ground investigation projects from planning through to completion, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence and high technical standards.
The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified in Geology, with experience managing contracts, projects or operations in ground investigations, strong client engagement, and SMSTS certification. Travel occasional is required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Geology or related discipline.
- Confident communicator capable of engaging with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience managing contracts, projects, or operations in ground investigations.
- Commercial awareness with project finances and performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of ground investigation projects from planning through to completion.
- Ensure safety, on-time delivery, budget control and high technical standards.
- Manage contract performance, including cost control and forecasting.
- Coach and support the team; coordinate resources and client relations.
- Promote HSEQ culture and support regional office operations.
- Contribute to business development and network expansion.
