Job summary

Premier Inn in Dunstable is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member to welcome guests, help them check in, and assist with breakfast or dinner service throughout shifts including evenings and weekends. You’ll join a friendly team and learn on the job, with permanent contracts, full training, and opportunities to grow across Premier Inn.

Location: Dunstable/Luton Premier Inn – 350 Luton Road, LU5 4LL. No hotel experience required; you’ll be supported from day one and learn how to create great guest

• No hotel experience required; previous work in retail, cafés, pubs or customer service is helpful.

Ground Floor Team Member – Dunstable/Luton Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract:Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 24 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Dunstable/Luton Premier Inn - 350 Luton Road, Dunstable, Bedfordshire, LU5 4LL

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

Depending on where you’re needed, you might:

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including working behind the bar and serving alcoholic drinks
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
