Job summary

Premier Inn is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member at Milton Keynes. You’ll be the first and last point of contact for guests, helping with check-in, serving breakfast or evening meals, and keeping reception and public areas tidy.

Shifts include evenings, weekends and busy periods. No hotel experience is required; friendly, calm and proactive people will be trained to cover a wide range of tasks and support the hotel team.

Ground Floor Team Member – Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract:Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 20 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: 197 Avebury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK9 1AU

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

Depending on where you’re needed, you might:

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
