Job summary

Premier Inn Cardiff City Centre is seeking a Ground Floor Team Member to welcome guests, assist with check-in, and provide breakfast or dinner service. You may also work behind the bar and help guests with any questions, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay.

As a frontline host, you’ll stay calm under pressure, take initiative, and support your team across shifts. Permanent contract, full training, and staff benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

We're currently recruiting in our Cardiff City Centre (Stadium) Premier Inn. Working 24 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Ground Floor Team Member - Cardiff City Centre (Stadium) Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave. As a Ground Floor Team Member, you'll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly. No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

• Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour
• Contract: Permanent - we don't do zero-hours contracts.
• Hours: 24 guaranteed hours per week.
• Location: Custom House Street, Cathays, Cardiff, CF10 1AP
• Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including working behind the bar and serving alcoholic drinks
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

You don't need hotel experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service. If you're friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it's busy, we'll teach you the rest.
