Job summary

Whitbread is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member for Belfast City Centre (Cathedral Quarter) Premier Inn. The role is 24 hours per week, with a permanent contract and pay up to £13.06 per hour. You’ll warmly welcome guests, help with check-in, serve breakfast or dinner, and assist guests to ensure a smooth stay.

Shifts include evenings and weekends; no hotel experience is required. You’ll join a supportive team, receive full training, and have access to Whitbread benefits and progression

We're currently recruiting in our Belfast City Centre (Cathedral Quarter) Premier Inn. Working 24 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Ground Floor Team Member – Belfast City Centre (Cathedral Quarter) Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 24 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Belfast City Centre (Cathedral Quarter) Premier Inn - 2-6 Waring Street, Belfast, Northern Ireland, BT1 2DX

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

Depending On Where You’re Needed, You Might

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
