AECOM is seeking a Technical Director/Associate Director to lead the Ground Engineering Team across the UK. You will drive technical development, strengthen capabilities, and manage client relationships to grow the business.

In this senior role, you’ll oversee geotechnical analyses, provide design leadership, and coordinate multi-disciplinary projects while mentoring junior staff and ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology with 2:1 or higher.
• MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics or Geotechnical Engineering is advantageous.
• Chartered status is required or highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee input, peer review and verification of geotechnical data and analyses and design calculations.
• Provide consultative advice during site selection, optioneering, design and construction.
• Manage geotechnical projects including planning schedules, coordination, and budget.
• Lead and mentor Ground Engineering team to meet time and quality expectations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to support a strong pipeline of opportunities.
• Collaborate with Transport, Water, Energy and Buildings teams on tender inputs.
• Mentor junior team members and provide development guidance.
