Job summary

A certified Mexican food brand in the UK seeks an experienced Grocery Sales Manager to lead their sales team and drive brand growth. Responsibilities include managing key retail accounts such as Waitrose and Tesco, implementing strategies, and overseeing P&L. Overview

Lead the grocery sales team and drive brand growth at Gran Luchito, a B Corp and 1% for the planet certified Mexican food brand.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the grocery sales team.
  • Manage key UK retail accounts such as Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Ocado and Whole Foods.
  • Collaborate with Head of Marketing to implement UK strategy.
  • Drive new business acquisition and create annual JBPs for customers.
  • Manage P&L of accounts within budget.
  • Communicate performance, recommend actions to consolidate strengths and correct underperformance.
  • Bring Gran Luchito to life in store.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years FMCG sales experience, preferably major UK supermarkets.
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable, travel required).
  • Excellent communication, analytical and IT skills (Google Sheets/Excel, Slides/Powerpoint).
  • Data‑driven mindset, strong analytical skills to measure and optimise sales performance.
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative team player comfortable negotiating with buyers.
  • Passionate about food, cooking and Mexican cuisine (plus).
  • English speaker, eligible to work in UK.
Additional Requirements
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Remote based with occasional travel within M25 and internationally.
