Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is hiring a Supermarket Assistant for Waitrose in Newton Mearns. You will support customers with friendly, partner-led service and help keep shelves stocked, process online orders, and assist with Click & Collect and in-store tasks. There is a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for hours between 22:00 and 06:00.

Qualifications

• Essential: strong communication with customers and team.
• Desirable: experience in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and well organized.
• Fulfilling online orders for driver delivery.
• Minimising wastage through due diligence and marking down nearing sell-by dates.
• Support wider shop team including checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
