John Lewis Partnership's Waitrose is seeking a Supermarket Assistant to help create the customer-first experience with our Partners delivering passionate service. You will support stock, online orders and store operations, earning trust and loyalty from customers.

You will work varied hours (18.06 hours per week) on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with late-night shifts, contributing to a friendly and efficient branch environment. DBS checks may be required during recruitment.

Formación

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with our customers.
• Experience of working in a customer facing role is welcomed.
• Up to date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexible approach to ensure the support of the whole branch.

Responsabilidades

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place for customers.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver to customers' doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns to those near sell-by dates.
• Working with the wider shop team to support checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
