Job summary

Mitie Landscapes is looking for a Gritting Operative to support Winter Services across sites in Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. You will grit various locations and drive a company vehicle equipped with a gritting hopper, ensuring rock salt is replenished and distributed efficiently during the winter period.

The role requires a passion for outdoor work, flexibility, and a good grasp of smartphone technology to coordinate tasks and report progress.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in varied sites.
• Able to adapt to fluctuating schedules and environments.
• Comfortable using smartphone apps for work coordination.
• Must hold a full driving licence.

• Drive a company vehicle with a gritting hopper.
• Replenish rock salt in the van and distribute it as needed.
• Complete duties safely and in a timely manner.

Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Gritting Operative to join our team at the UKs market leading FM company. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be supporting Winter Services, carrying out gritting on various sites, throughout the Winter period ensuring you deliver the exceptional every day.

Hourly Rate of Pay: £25.00
Contract Type: Fixed Term
Type of Employment: Full Time

You will be responsible for

• Gritting various sites within your regional area
• Driving a company vehicle with a gritting hopper
• Filling your van with rock salt to distribute
• Completing your duties in a safe and timely manner
